Mr Lu graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and once taught at the Department of Accounting at the Finance and Economics Institute of Jimei University.  Holding three types of practice qualifications, he is a PRC qualified legal professional, a PRC certified public accountant and a PRC certified tax adviser.  Mr Lu is well versed in the rules and practice of certified accountants and tax advisers, and has considerable experience as a practising lawyer.

Mr Lu's focus includes corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A), real estate development, bankruptcy and liquidation; he has extensive experience in advising numerous high-profile Chinese clients in investment projects in China and abroad.

Mr Lu has great expertise in complex M&A transactions in China and abroad.  The various types of transactions he has led and participated in include M&A between PRC enterprises, inbound M&A between foreign and PRC enterprises in China and outbound M&A between PRC and foreign enterprises overseas.  He has clients across various sectors, including mining, real estate, petrochemical, medical and electronics.
